In order to provide reference for drought resistance gene cloning and marker assisted selection,QTL(quantitative trait locus) analysis was carried out in wheat under PEG-6000 treatment using 184 RILs(recombinant inbred lines) derived from a cross of Tainong 18×Linmai 6.The results showed that a total of 43 QTLs were located on 14 chromosomes except for 1B,3D,4D,5A,5D,6D and 7A.Of these,5,5,9,3,6,1,3,3 and 3 QTLs were related to shoot hight, maximum root length, root number, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight,root-shoot ratio in fresh weight,root-shoot ratio in dry weight, respectively; and 5 QTLs were related to drought resistance coefficient.A single QTL accounted for 3.39 to 32.63% of the phenotypic variation.Twenty-eight QTLs showed positive additive effects, indicating that Tainong 18 increased the effects of QTLs; whereas 30 QTLs showed negative additive effects, indicating that Linmai 6 increased the effects of QTLs.A number of 11 RHF-QTLs( relative high frequency QTLs) were detected in two or more environments. One QTL cluster was detected on chromosome 4B,including four morphological traits(shoot hight, shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight, and root-shoot ratio in fresh weight) of RHF-QTLs( QSh-4B-1, QSfw-4B-1, QSdw-4B-1, QRsfw-4B-1) and one drought resistance coefficient QTL( QRsfw-D-4B-1).The contribution rates of the five QTLs were all over 10%.The markers of this QTL cluster can be used for marker assisted selection. |
